Company Background
United Research China is formed by bringing together some
of the most experienced market research professionals in China and
several distinguished overseas consultants.
Two of our founders set up and operated Guangzhou Market Research
(GMR), the very first market research organization in China in
1988.
In 1992 they formed the first market research joint venture in
China with an international research company. They have managed
the JV in Guangzhou until early 1996.
In 1996, United Research China was set up in Guangzhou, Shanghai
and Beijing with the participation of over 30 well qualified and
experienced market research practitioners. Offices in Hong Kong
and Chengdu also opened in the same year.
United Research China was the first employee owned partnership
of market research practice in China. All our key managers are
equity partners of the company.
